Dr. Gregory Farber was raised in Simsbury with his three siblings and attended public schools there. He earned both his Bachelors in Molecular and Cell Biology and Doctoral degrees at the University of Connecticut. His post-graduate training involved treating an underserved population in the clinics of Yale University and Hospital of Saint Rafaels, as well as completing a fellowship in periodontal surgery. He entered private practice and since 2004, along with Drs. Bloom, Cramer, Marion, Chu, Hughes and Meltzer, and a dedicated team of over twenty staff, has grown Day Hill Dental into the welcoming modern practice it is today. This being his 25th year in practice, Dr. Farber continues to serve generations of families.
Dr. Farber is an active member of the American Dental Association, (and participates on its’ advisory board) the Connecticut State Dental Association and serves on several committees of the Hartford Dental Society. He is on several other organizations’ board of directors and volunteers as a dental case examiner and expert witness for the Department of Public Health. Dr. Farber now resides in West Hartford with his wife and two children. They enjoy skiing, golf and the outdoors. He currently holds a private pilots’ license and also volunteers for the Connecticut State Golf Association.
