Christina Morales, MSW, has been with Windsor Public Schools overseeing the Office of Family and Community Partnerships since July 2019. In this role she oversees the implementation of Family Resource Centers in 5 schools, the Welcome Center, Treehouse: the before care & after school program for 3 elementary schools as well as partners with schools and the community to bring best practices in family and community engagement.
Before her tenure with Windsor, she worked for Bloomfield Public Schools in a similar role with emphasis on implementing an extended day initiative for the district across multiple schools. Christina has also worked for several nonprofits in Hartford, her hometown. For these nonprofits she served in multiple capacities focused on youth development, staff capacity development, the implementation of the community schools model and in youth drug and substance abuse prevention programs. She earned her Masters in Social Work Generalist Practice from Springfield College School of Social Work, MA. Her Bachelor’s of Social Work and minor in Latino Community Practice is from the University of Saint Joseph, CT
