A century ago, in April of 1917, the United States entered what was called the Great War, now called World War I. Windsor Historical Society will open an exhibit of World War I advertising posters, photographs, equipment, letters and much more on March 22, 2017. We have wonderful collections to share! And we’d like to know what you have preserved in your trunks and attics from that long-ago war. Perhaps your great-grandfather served overseas and wrote letters from the battlefront or brought home battlefront souvenirs, carefully preserved.
