Bart’s Hosts Mary’s Place Gala
Sunday’s Gala Car Cruise will feature oldies music played by D.J. Tony “Hollywood” Delafiore, several raffle baskets including a select one from Brignole Vineyards in East Granby, a 50/50 raffle and more.

Mary’s Place is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to provide an atmosphere of thrust where families who are grieving a death of a family member can share their experiences, receive support and find comfort, as noted on their website.
The Poquonock Avenue facility is one of only three grieving centers in Connecticut, and prides itself on providing

The Windsor Health Department is hosting a series of 6 Hypertension Workshops or High Blood Pressure Workshops. These workshops are scheduled over the summer and will be offered via Zoom. The dates and topics are listed below. In addition, each time you return the workshop evaluation and the Pre-Diabetes Risk Test, you will receive a $5 First Town Downtown Gift Card with a maximum of $30 awarded.

Summer Concerts on the Green Thursday evenings from 6:30 – 8:30 PM each week through August 26. Rain dates are always the Tuesday after.

102d Army Band is the official musical emissary for the Connecticut Army National Guard. Within the 102d Army Band, there are several musical groups which play a variety of music including classical, jazz, rock and many others. In addition to our concert band, we have multiple music performance teams, including: jazz combo, rock band, pop ensemble, brass quintet and duet teams. This allows us to perform many different types of concerts and ceremonies.

Pre-order a pizza (or two, or three), and join friends and family on the Windsor Town Green to view the sunset on a nice summer night. Pre-ordered pizzas will be delivered to the front of Town Hall and labeled with your name. Just stop at the table to pick them up. Bring your own lawn chairs, blankets, and beverages. We will have yard games but feel free to bring your own. Have fun and relax!

Have an art project you need materials and/or advice for? Stop into the studio classroom at the Windsor Art Center Train Station Studios during open hours to use the space and materials for your personal project, and receive guidance from local artist Michelle Hawran (if you wish!)

You MUST sign up at least a day in advance to ensure no more than 4 students will be in the classroom at one time. Each student will have their own table and sanitized materials, and masks are required. If you are feeling sick, please to do not attend.
