Windsor Little League is excited to announce Opening Weekend Friday April 23rd through
Sunday April 25th at Welch Park in Windsor! Opening Day Ceremony will be at 11:15am Saturday 4/24 at Welch Park. A Hit-A-Thon will immediately follow and the concession stand will be open!!!

2021's Opening Day is dedicated to the memory of Coach Adrian Serrano.

Voices Against Lyme Disease a 501(c)3, based in Windsor, CT is continuing their Support Group for those with a tickborne illness or a family member and friends. This group meets on the first and third Saturday of every month and is free to anyone wishing to join us. We use strict COVID 19 guidelines for our meetings. In addition, to support discussions we also provide up to date research information on tick borne illnesses, awareness and prevention.

Spring is almost here and Project Graduation is now taking Flocking Orders! Every year when the snow melts, flocks of flamingos migrate to Windsor and appear on lawns throughout town! If you would like to send a flock of flamingos to a friend or family member, please visit our website www.projectgraduationwindsorct.com or click on http://bit.ly/2021ProjectGrad for the order form.
We’ll take care of the flocking and pick-up the flamingos after a day or two.
We will accept orders until two weeks prior to the last day of school,
flockings will occur through the last day of school.

Hayden Station: Pancake  Breakfast
Last year Hayden Station was unable to host its annual pancake breakfast, but it is back in a Drive-Thru format this Saturday between 8:00am and noon. Cost is $10 per person. Your stomach will thank you as will the members of the Hayden Station Fire Company for your support. You will drive through the bay of the firehouse where you will pick up your to-go meal consisting of pancakes, eggs, hash browns, and either sausage links (meat option) or a little more of the other items (non-meat option), and a cup of coffee. Join the Main Library and Kevin Manning an astronomer with Look Up to the Stars for Astronomy for Everyone. This presentation is an exploration of the universe from the very small to the very large, looking at matter from subatomic particles to superclusters of galaxies, and the entire universe. It's a virtual journey throughout the cosmos describing celestial objects and how they were formed as well as their relative sizes compared with each other.

The show is open to the public during regular town hall hours and any evening hours that the town hall is open for meetings.
