Holiday Lights of JOY
Celebrating the holiday season is looking a little different in 2020!

Holiday Lights of JOY drive-thru event on Thursday, December 10 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at LP Wilson Community Center. Santa will make a visit to wave at each car. We ask that everyone wears a mask and stay in his or her car throughout the drive-thru. There will be over 5000 lights on display.

Can’t make it on December 10th? Don’t worry! The display will run from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM from Monday, December 14th until Friday, December 18th without Santa.

Event Update: Due to growing concern for the public health and safety of holding this event in person, we have decided to transition it to an online format.

Join Windsor Historical Society online from 5:30-6:00 p.m. on Friday, December 11th, for an educational and entertaining examination of drinking culture in Windsor around the onset of prohibition. In preparation for its 100th Anniversary next year, the society is highlighting life in 1921 Windsor with Getting Tight in the Teens and Twenties. This presentation also provides practical recommendations for optimum coexistence with our black bear population.

Holiday Inflatable Lawn Display to Benefit Windsor Food & Fuel Bank
Jason Santos is sharing his love for the season by showcasing his front lawn with more than 30 inflatable holiday characters, while collecting food for the Windsor Food & Fuel Bank at the same time. From now through December 25 - Christmas night, everyone is invited to come view his outdoor wonderland at 25 Tiffany Drive in Windsor, Conn. The colorful display is open every night from 4:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., except for very windy, snowy, or rainy nights.
