Heritage Brick Installation
On October 5, the latest crop of First Town Downtown Heritage Bricks will be installed into the brick patio on the green across from Central Street. Come join us from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM to celebrate some of the people who make Windsor a wonderful place to live.

Bricks are engraved to celebrate anniversaries, birthdays, graduations and other occasions as well as to to honor those who have gone before us. All bricks purchased or gifted over the last few months will be brought together and laid into the patio for future generations to enjoy.

Opening Weekend for Browns Harvest's 5 Acre Corn Maze! This year's theme "Wild About the Weather" in recognition of the 40th anniversary of the Oct 3rd Tornado. First weekend only $8/pp, ages 3 and up! Kids' Maze open, too! We'll be making our first batches of Apple Cider Donuts. Kimberly Hall offers an Alzheimer's Support group for family members who are a caregiver or have a loved one with a form of dementia. The support group consists of both families caring for someone at home or who have someone in a community. Please feel free to join us to learn more about the disease and how to cope with changes that occur as the disease progresses.

Flu shots for Windsor residents age 50+ and disabled adults age 18+ are available at the Windsor Senior Center's Health Fair & Flu Shot Clinic on Thursday, October, 3, 2019. The fair runs from 8:30 AM to 12:00 PM and there will be many free health screenings and services, demonstrations, giveaways, and over 35 vendors! Cello Concert

Julie Ribchinsky, cellist and Professor of Music at Central Connecticut State University, will present a Cello Concert at the Main Library which features the autumnal D minor Suite as well as Golijov’s, Omaramour and the tangos and music of Carlos Gardel. Come hear how the technique and musical soul of the cello emerged from past to present. This concert will be performed on Thursday, October 3 from 7:00 to 8:00 PM. Free. 860-285-1918.
