Third Annual Members’ Exhibition
Windsor Art Center is pleased to announce the Third Annual Members’ Exhibition 2017. A cash prize for “Best in Show” will be awarded at the opening along with an Honorable Mention and Young Participant Recognition. The juror of award is Amy Kurtz Lansing, curator of the Florence Griswold Museum in Old Lyme, CT. The exhibition is on view from June 24 – July 29 and opens with a free reception on Saturday, June 24 from 5:00 -7:00 PM.

On July 7 at 6:30, please join us at the gallery for Free Film Fridays with free popcorn and pizza.

Jim has written and illustrated nearly 100 books on wildlife and nature for children. He has received numerous honors for his work, including the American Association for the Advancement of Science Lifetime Achievement Award for excellence in science illustration. Visit The Connecticut Valley Agricultural Museum this summer from June 1st to August 31st on Thursdays and Fridays from 12:00 – 4:00 pm and Saturday 10:00 am – 4:00 pm for “Celebrate Local Artists” Art Exhibition. This show will unravel the social and physical cultural landscape changes over the last century. Opening Reception Friday, June 2nd from 5:00 to 8:00 pm.
