Join WIN-TV as we celebrate our 35th Anniversary! On March 3, 1982 WIN-TV incorporated. We are celebrating with a special happy hour, introducing our anniversary cocktail, the "Win-tini." There will be great raffle prizes, happy hour food and drink specials and a chance to come out and meet the WIN-TV staff, Board of Directors and volunteers. Come join us!

Weekend Cross-country Ski and Snowshoe Rentals
Weekend Cross-country Ski and Snowshoe Rentals at Windsor’s Northwest Park

Beginning January on Saturday and Sunday you can rent equipment to cross-country ski or snowshoe at Northwest Park through snow-laden forests and fields. Rentals are available from the Warming Shed on weekends only, from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Children and adult sizes are available. Snow conditions permitting. A 6” base is required. The rental fee is $10.00 for Windsor resident and $15.00 for non-resident. Call for conditions 860-285-1886.

Windsor Art Center Artist Talk with Gus Mazzocca
The Windsor Art Center is pleased to announce its upcoming exhibition entitled MULTIPLES: Printmaking featuring Gus Mazzocca with works by Michael Siporin Levine and Matthew Clay-Robison, which will run March 11 through April 22, 2017. This exhibition includes works from the career of UConn Professor Emeritus Gus Mazzocca, an internationally-exhibited printmaker-artist, as well as two of his former UConn printmaking students and current working artists, Michael Siporin Levine and York Gallery Director and artist, Matthew Clay-Robison.

Lincoln Center - Danish String Quartets
The Windsor Public Library will be screening performances from Lincoln Center this spring. This month our screening will be Danish String Quartets: A Little Night Music. One of the most exciting young string quartets on the world stage arrives at the Kaplan Penthouse for its Mostly Mozart debut with a fascinating program that begins with Mozart’s arrangements of The Well-Tempered Clavier. 2017 Shad Derby Family Bowling Fundraiser
The Shad Derby Committee is inviting bowlers of all ages and abilities, families, clubs and businesses to participate in the Bowling For Shad Derby event on Sunday, March 19, 2017 from 2:00 to 4:00pm at the Bradley Bowl in Windsor Locks. Check in is at 1:30pm.

Tickets are $15 per person and includes bowling shoes and two games. Each lane will have teams of six.

It's Felting Cats and Dogs
Explore the technique of needle felting and create a miniature look-alike of your beloved four legged friend. Students will learn how to construct a proportional cat or dog with "skeleton" and use a special barbed wire needle to sculpt a firm felted animal friend.
